Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mainly working behind the scenes, the CEO’s role is to keep the airline moving in the right direction. He will oversee the running of the VA by assigning staff members and approving any major changes to the VA’s operations.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The COO is much more active in the VA community and is in charge of the day to day running of the airline. Making decisions for minor changes to the direction and operations of the VA, the COO works very closely with the CEO to ensure the airline continues moving in the right direction. He handles the day to day operational requirements of the airline, from recruiting and welcoming of new pilots to handling disciplinary issues and disputes as well as overseeing the incumbent staff team.
Chief Pilot (CP)

The chief pilot is employed as a support mechanism for all our pilots. CP has a significant amount of formal training and flight experience in Infinite Flight. The individual is responsible for conducting training sessions with fellow pilots and helping them regarding flight related issues. This normally includes instruction both on the ground and in the sky, and may include instruction in cockpit instruments, aerodynamics and similar subjects. The use of real world procedures coupled with guidance from the CP would ensure that each flight is flown identical to real-world operations with the highest level of professionalism and standards that is expected from members of Etihad Airways Virtual.
Pilot Recruitment Manager (PRM)

The Pilot Recruitment Manager (PRM) is responsible for the oversight of pilot recruitment and job placement. This position ensures all crew members fit within our company culture and have the necessary skills to perform their duties. The role of PRM includes development and execution of new recruiting sources, background screening, statistical verification, conducting interviews and final evaluation of all potential candidates while maintaining a high standard of professionalism by providing excellent candidate care throughout the recruiting process. The PRM is also required to lead and actively participate in all pilot recruitment related projects and programs authorized by executive administration.
Digital Marketing Manager (MM)

The Digital Marketing (Media) Manager is in charge of the VA’s image in the public domain by developing marketing campaigns to promote a product, service or idea related to the VA through running social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube) , the IFC and organizing events with the Chief Operating Officer’s assistance. The role includes content strategy, developing brand awareness and generating inbound traffic towards the VA. This individual is highly motivated with experience and a passion for designing and implementing the VA’s content strategy, creating relevant content, blogging, community participation and leadership.
Events Manager (EM)

The Events Manager is responsible for managing all events involving Etihad Airways Virtual. This not only includes events initiated and created by EYV, but also managing our involvement in our partners’ events.
Routes Manager (RM)

The Routes Manager is responsible for constantly updating our routemap and adding new routes as per real life schedule. The RM is also tasked with compiling a database of SIDs, STARs and aerodrome charts of airports within our route map for pilots to use in their flights on a regular basis. RM would also be incharge of forming codeshare agreements with various VARB approved VAs.
